A video of this young stallion, who has just started under saddle, is now available to be viewed on the Danson Dressage Channel of YouTube. If the link below is not working please contact Heather Currie from our links page & request the video connection.

Charlie is a tall colt with the superb nature of his sire … The trainer has never had a stallion so quiet. She says he is just like an old gelding. This was confirmed by Tristan & Matt at ALAB when they introduced him to the breeding barn. Their comment "He was happy just to talk to the mare".

For those who wish to know, it has only taken 7 weeks, from arriving at the breakers to get to the kind, rounded, forward movement you see in the video link above & ridden pictures below. Just imagine what this fellow will be like with a bit more time!!

This really is that one in a million horse, if you are looking for a Stallion with a lovely, easy going temperament. He'd be ideal for so many different equestrian pursuits. Much like his sire Charlie is such a lovely horse, with a layback attitude even amongst Andalusians. He has good size and would be suitable for the likes of a young rider wanting to develop more advanced dressage skills or an adult rider, of more advanced years with the ability & passion to train a young horse in dressage.

You may even like to harness his raw power as a Showjumper or use his low center of gravity, to try him in the relatively new sport of Jousting. No matter what your chosen sport, this guy is the ideal stallion for someone starting out. He'll produce nice allrounders for Ridng Club or Pony Club. There is no doubt they will have the wonderful temperament we are all looking for ... and the athleticism to go where your passion leads
